Brash Rodeo Winter Series 2018/19

October 26, 2018 - April 13, 2019

Rodeo has been a part of Montana’s culture since the first cowboys arrived over 150 years ago. This event include bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, steer riding, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, calf roping and chute dogging. Brash Rodeo is Western Montana’s longest running series open rodeo. Your Glacier country vacation would not be complete without experiencing the Brash Rodeo.

Christmas Tours at the Conrad Mansion

November 24 - December 23, 2018

Experience the magic of a Victorian Christmas at the Conrad Mansion.  A brilliant two-story Christmas tree presides in the Great Hall and the house sparkles in holiday finery just as it did when the Conrad Family lived there.  Mrs. Conrad loved the holiday season and the mansion staff happily continues her tradition by sharing the spirit of Christmas with visitors.

The Museum’s holiday season will start November 24, 2018.

Craft Brewers Cup

November 30 - December 2, 2018

Come join the Craft Brewers Cup at Woodland Ice Center! There will be adult hockey players from all over the US, Canada, and even the UK, playing all weekend at the Kalispell’s outdoor ice rink, right in the heart of downtown Kalispell! It will be the inauguration of the Concrete rink! The entire event is open to the public at no charge, and there will be a Craft Beer Fest noon to 6pm on Saturday the 2nd. All proceeds will benefit the co-ed youth Flathead Valley Hockey Association.


Downtown Kalispell Art Walk & Holiday Stroll

December 7, 2018

Start your holiday season with the annual Kalispell Art Walk & Holiday Stroll.  This Downtown celebration will take place Friday, December 7, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm. Start your holiday shopping and also enter to win one of several $100.00 gift certificates for use at downtown participating locations. At 6:00 you will be treated to an opportunity to join the Crown of the Continent Choir singing traditional Christmas carols, followed by Christmas tree lighting of the community during the song fest at Depot Park.

This Sacred Season and Messiah

December 15 - 16, 2018

Glacier Symphony brings the power of the Orchestra and Chorale together in a concert featuring both Sacred and contemporary music to celebrate the holiday season. Selections will include Bach’s Magnificat, Lauridsen’s O Magnum Mysterium, Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Christmas Carols, Zoltek’s A Christmas Round and  chorus and aria selections from Handel’s Messiah. 
John Zoltek conducts and Micah Hunter, GS Chorale conductor, will be a baritone soloist.

Ice Fishing Tournament

December 15, 2018 - February 24, 2019

More than any other region in Montana, our NW corner offers unmatched variety when it comes to fishing. There is literally, fishing in every direction! And when winter sets in, our area offers ice fishing opportunities that are the envy of the Midwest States, only with much milder weather. Ice fishing season runs from December through March with several tournaments to test your skills.

Skijoring at Rebecca Farm

December 29 - 30, 2018

Rebecca Farm is hosting its second annual skijoring competition on December 29 – 30, 2018. Skijoring consists of a horse pulling a skier through an obstacle course, while hitting jumps that range in size from three to nine feet high. Watch as competitors race for the purse up to $25,000.

A Chocolate Affair

February 1, 2019

“A Chocolate Affair” promises to be an evening to remember. If you enjoyed the December Art Walk, you will love this event. Walk through various downtown businesses tasting a variety of chocolate treats and shopping for your special Valentine. Taste, shop and judge the chocolate from 5 – 7:30 PM and treat your Valintine to a great meal or appetizers and drinks at one of the wonderful Downtown Kalispell restaurants.


Montana Sportsman’s Expo 2019

February 22 - February 24, 2019

The Montana Sportsman’s Expo features activities and exhibits for every imaginable sport in the great northwest outdoors – hunting, fishing, rafting, hiking, biking, horseback riding and more. There will be wildlife displays, live seminars, a kid’s fishing pond and 1,000’s of dollars in prizes and giveaways.
