Sometimes there just isn’t enough time. Whether you have just an hour or two or a full day, there’s still plenty of time to experience some of the best in Kalispell and the Flathead Valley.
Play Golf — Choose from any (or all) of our nine golf courses that are located from Polson to Whitefish. Right in Kalispell there’s historic Buffalo Hill Golf Course, Big Mountain Golf Course along the Stillwater River and Village Greens in Evergreen. All are close and all promise great golf.
Have Dinner — Kalispell has some wonderful restaurants, from fine dining to casual. Check out the North Bay Grille or HuHot Mongolian Grill. Visit Moose’s Saloon or Norm’s News for a trip back in time. Enjoy dinner on Flathead Lake at the Tamarack Ale House and Grill in Lakeside.
Listen to the Music — Summer means outdoor concerts in Depot Park and summer theatre in Bigfork and Whitefish. Winter brings the full schedule of the Glacier Symphony and Chorale. Check the event schedule for the latest information.
Keep in Shape — Take a walk through historic Woodland Park or play a quick round of disc golf in Lawrence Park. Hike along part of Rails to Trails. Stroll through historic downtown Kalispell. Pick up the historic walking tour brochure at the Visitor Information Center.
Glimpse of Glacier — Summer means long days here in northwest Montana. There’s plenty of sunlight to leave Kalispell in late afternoon and take an evening cruise on a classic wooden boat on Lake MacDonald. Or drive to the Trail of the Cedars and unwind in the shade of the towering cedars.
